Post storm copper tones with Canon 6d and 24-105 and recovering shadows in Snapseed on an iPad

About a week and a bit ago Sydney was inundated with wind and rain and electrical theatrics, yep a great big storm. But afterwards as the sun was setting in the west, the sky turned copper. Grabbed the 6d with 24-105 and took a few quick pics to try and grab the mood. Almost surreal really. I’ve posted 2 pictures as they were both shot as jpeg, but I wanted to demonstrate how easy it is to recover detail from the shadows with large jpeg files rather than having to shoot in raw, on my iPad with Snapseed. Although it’s not the sharpest of pictures (that’s my fault), it demonstrates that post processing doesn’t have to be time consuming nor complicated.
